Wendi Young
Hello!
My name is Wendi Young and I have the honor of standing in front of the members of Simply A Cappella as their Director.
During my 37 years as a Sweet Adeline, I have been an Assistant Director for three Directors as well as a choreographer and costume designer.
I have sung with the award-winning Scottsdale Chorus earning two silver medals and a gold. I enjoy singing tenor in a competing quartet. I have won Regional twice plus wild card spots four times giving me the opportunity to compete at International six times. There is no greater pleasure than ringing chords or better yet, teaching others the art of barbershop.
We are a welcoming group of ladies who not only enjoy barbershop but each other and the fun of learning and working to be the best we can be. I look forward to our future and directing Simply A Cappella to bigger and better things.
